The evidence beneath a defensible decision in Latin America.
Veritas Bridge Partners produces independent, evidence-based documentation of Latin American and Caribbean organizations' standing — so funders have a clear, verified picture before they commit. We document what an organization has built and can demonstrate. The decision stays yours.
The evidence supporting your decision.
The evidence gap
Funding decisions rest on less evidence than the stakes deserve.
Funders making decisions about organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean have long relied on relationships, references, and reputation. That knowledge is real — but it's uneven, hard to verify, and rarely written down. Independent, documented evidence of what an organization has actually built has always been the scarce part.
The recent drawdown of U.S. development funding, including USAID, has thinned the shared reference points many funders once leaned on, leaving more of that judgment to each funder with less to go on. The need for independent evidence isn't new — it's simply harder to meet now.
Veritas Bridge Partners provides that evidence: an independent, documented account of where an organization stands — so a decision can rest on more than reputation.
What we do
Two documents. One clear read on any prospective grantee.
The BRIDGE Profile™
An independent, evidence-based account of an organization's standing across seven dimensions — The Seven Pillars of Organizational Standing™. Every reading is drawn from documented, independently verified evidence: a one-page card your committee can read at a glance, backed by a full report that shows the reasoning behind it.
The Due Diligence Review
A factual verification of legal standing, operational existence, and integrity — registration, financials, sanctions and watchlist screening. Every finding is sourced, with the verification method documented, so the facts a funder needs are confirmed before capital moves.
Independent verification
We confirm what we can without the organization's help — pulling public records ourselves and reaching community members, officials, and peers directly. For every finding, we can name the document and how it was verified.
We see what thin paperwork hides
Our method is built so an effective grassroots organization is not penalized for working where formal documentation is scarce. You never mistake missing documents for missing capability.
We document; you decide
We never issue a funding recommendation or a pass/fail grade. We tell you what the evidence shows — the decision, and the credit for it, remain entirely yours.
We document standing. You decide.
Evidenced and verified — so the judgment of whom to fund stays where it belongsFor organizations
Whether a funder has asked you to take part, or you're exploring an assessment on your own.
A BRIDGE Profile™ documents your organization's standing through independent, verified evidence — a clear, credible account of what you've built, in a form funders recognize.
- It is not an audit, a grade, or a pass/fail test, and it does not decide whether anyone funds you.
- Your evidence counts in whatever form it lives — a handwritten log, a community assembly's minutes, a message thread where a real decision was made.
- You are considered in light of what you are. A small, community-rooted organization is never held to the paperwork of a large, well-funded one.
- The results are yours. You decide whether, when, and with whom to share them.
Who we are
Over two decates of institutional philanthropy, turned into evidence.
Veritas Bridge Partners grew out of nearly two decades in the grants-operations, compliance, and due-diligence functions of institutional philanthropy. That work made one thing clear: funders deploying capital across Latin America and the Caribbean often have to decide with far less independent evidence about an organization than the stakes deserve. The firm exists to produce that evidence, to a consistent standard, for the funders who need it.
